"Orange Peel" Grapples
“Orange peel” grapples from Doosan are used for loading and processing scrap metal and waste. This type of grapple consists of 5 claws with interchangeable steel teeth at the end, and it is designed for excavators with a total weight of 14 to 52 tons.
The claws are made of high-strength wear-resistant steel, and all hydraulic components are equipped with special protection, ensuring long equipment service life. The modernized shape of the grapple provides high efficiency and productivity. Interchangeable teeth are installed at the tops of the claws, and by installing a relief valve, the closing force of the grapple can be adjusted, protecting metal structures and cylinders from rapid wear.
The simple yet reliable design of the grip ensures convenience in technical maintenance and repair of the attachment. The main working parameter of the grapple is the working capacity (from 0.3 to 0.97 m3), which determines the productivity of the special equipment and the speed of loading/unloading or sorting of metals.
